Roof Replacement 101:

A crash course on what to expect


Scheduling the job can be a bit complicated considering Oklahoma's inconsistent weather. Our team navigates the forecasts and decides on a day which keeps our crews and your home as safe as possible.

Day Before Install:

Once we get an install date set with you, we order materials and coordinate all the details with our supplier and crews to tackle the job at hand. In most cases, we will coordinate with our supplier to have materials delivered to your home the day before install to ensure utmost efficiency the day of installation.

What does that mean for you?

  • Please leave at least one side of the driveway clear for the delivery truck to safely deliver all materials.

Day of Install:

Once we reach the installation day, our crews will likely arrive around sunrise to begin work. Upon arrival, the crew will back a large dump trailer in the driveway to haul off the old material. The crews then begin by placing tarps and plywood around the house to protect vulnerable items (Air conditioners, plants, statues etc.) Once these items are protected, the crews will begin tearing off the existing roof system and disposing of the old material in the dump trailer. Once all the old material is removed they begin installing the new roof system starting with synthetic underlayment and ending with ridge cap. Once the work is complete, clean up begins. The crew will use magnets, leaf blowers, rakes, and brooms to go over the property with a fine tooth comb to ensure we leave it cleaner than we found it.

What does that mean for you?

  • Please leave the driveway clear for our dump trailer and allow space for our crew to effectively clean up

  • The day of install can be quite noisy. We work diligently to minimize our time making such noise.

  • Throughout the day the yard can get messy, if you have outdoor pets we recommend bringing them inside if possible.

  • Don't sweat the mess. It may look chaotic at times but we assure you we will always leave your home better than we found it!

  • Towards the end of the day we will arrange a final walk around with you to ensure your satisfaction!
